Graphic Design Training Program Helps Parliamentary Staff Communicate Effectively

Mission

PCAsia works to create an ASEAN region where peace, harmony, and mutual understanding are supported by highly qualified parliamentary staff who operate at internationally recognized standards.

 

Program Goals

The goal of this graphic design training program was to improve the participants’ foundation in graphic design, the quality of their work, their applied creativity, and their understanding of how to communicate effectively through design.

 

Challenges

The training was conducted physically at the Senate, House of the Parliament of Cambodia. This presented the challenge of creating a fun and interactive learning environment in a traditional setting.

 

Outcome Goals

By the end of the training, participants were able to:

  • Understand the principles and elements of graphic design
  • Use the right tools and techniques to improve creativity
  • Understand graphic standards and how to use them effectively
  • Simplify and summarize information into infographics

 

Assignment

The participants worked on a variety of projects, including creating a mini branding guideline, infographics, and social media posters.

 

Results

The training was a success, and the participants were able to significantly improve their graphic design skills. They were able to apply their new knowledge to create high-quality collateral materials that were both informative and visually appealing.

 

Overall, the training program was a valuable experience for the participants and helped them to better understand the importance of graphic design in their work.
